Chris Bowman
Chris lives in Armada, Mi. with his wife Kristin who works in medical billing. Chris and Kristin have two children. Jordyn is a Physical Therapist in the Grand Rapids area. Joshua is ready to graduate from Grand Valley State University as a Mechanical Engineer in May 2026.
When not at work Chris enjoys trips to the beach, hunting/fishing/camping and loves going to Tigers games. He is also very involved in his church worship ministry as a stage musician.
Debb Edler
Debb Edler joined the Pomeroy Orion Team in September of 2025 as the Director of Wellness. Debb has been a nurse for over 35 years. As a nurse, she enjoys creating moments of joy with her residents. The moments of joy with the residents is something that makes her heart happy.
Debb has been married for almost 43 years with 3 grown sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and her grandson, Kayden. She has a service dog, Lily, who works with dementia/anxiety.
Kim Walters
With over 15 years of experience as an Activity and Fitness Director aboard luxury cruise ships, Kim has brought energy, joy, and unforgettable memories to guests sailing across the globe. Her career has taken her around the world—11 times, to be exact—on World Cruises where she served as both a Social Director and Fitness Director on the High Seas.
Kim’s passion for people, entertainment, and creating uplifting experiences has been the heart of her work. With a strong background in dance and certification as a fitness professional, she has led engaging wellness programs and even competed on national television, appearing on Dance Fever and Crystal Light Aerobic Championships with her dance partner. She also brought spirit to the sidelines as a professional cheerleader for the USFL’s Michigan Panthers.
Above all, Kim loves bringing people together through activities, movement, and connection. She lives with a grateful heart, believing in the power of joy, community, and a positive spirit to transform lives—whether at sea or on land.
Lorene Strong
Lorene joined the Pomeroy Living Orion Team on Day 1 in 2017. Living locally, she witnessed the community being built and knew that she had to become a part of this family.
Being a resident of such a close knit town like Lake Orion since 1996, Lorene is still amazed at the various connections that she has within the Senior Living Community.
Prior to being at Pomeroy Living, Lorene worked as a dental assistant for 30 years, including a Lake Orion Dentist for the last 15 years. Although she saw hundreds of patients at the office, her favorite patients were always the seniors. They had a way of brightening up her day, and she felt that she made a difference in theirs.
Speaking of seniors, after residing in Wisconsin for over 65 years, Lorene’s father moved in with Lorene and her husband in July, 2022. Since she was born and raised in Wisconsin, Lorene’s roots are hard to hide on Sundays while cheering with her father for their beloved Packers.
The joy of Lorene’s life is her family, especially her 4 grandchildren.
Nate Kruk
Nate Kruk joined the Pomeroy Living team as the Maintenance Director in September of 2025. He has worked in the senior living industry since 2012 as well as working in hospital settings. Nate graduated from Specs Howard School and has a certificate in Radio-Video Broadcasting.
Outside of work, he enjoys freelancing on the weekends as a Broadcast Radio Engineer. He loves spending time with his twins. Nate is fluent in Polish.
